Chandos is hiring a Proposal Manager to join our Marketing and Communications team and service our our Business Development and Client Pursuit teams.

As the Proposal Manager you’ll be responsible for leading a team of proposal coordinators and working with cross-functional teams to build proposals and position Chandos as the partner of choice for potential clients.

You and your team will work with our Business Development Directors to identify client needs and develop the proposal value proposition, highlighting the unique solutions that Chandos can bring to potential clients.

You’ll prioritize the proposal queue, assign proposals to your team, and manage the capacity of the proposal coordinators to ensure they are set up for success.  You will provide the highest levels of service to the Business Development team while also creating content that wows our customers.   

When a proposal is ready to go, you’ll provide a final review to check for accuracy and ensure our brand standards including logo and image requirements, tone of voice, and brand narrative are all consistent and correct.

Managing and maintaining our content library is an important part of this role.  You will work with the proposal coordinators to develop a process for collecting updated information and storing it in our central CRM.  You’ll audit and monitor the CRM to ensure the process is being followed and make continuous improvements.

As the successful candidate for this position, you will bring your:

  • Undergraduate degree/diploma in marketing/communication or business-related field
  • 5 years of experience in a business development and/or marketing environment
  • 5 years of experience developing client proposals within the construction industry
  • 3 years of experience with InDesign, Illustrator and Adobe software applications
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates the desire to win
