This project involved restoration to the local rehabilitation centre and an adjacent cultural space which was damaged by fire. The updated space will provide a location for ceremony and healing for the local community. The project scope included selective demolition of the fire damaged structure and adjacent space to accommodate new construction.
Our national special services group (SSG) also had to add in a new cultural room teepee; connection and modification of existing adjacent walls and roof to accommodate tie-in of new teepee addition; and new flooring finishes, paint, lighting, and ductwork.
