This project included a renovation and upgrade to base building mechanical and electrical systems, replacement of the roofing and atrium glazing, new windows on the main floor, and tenant fit-up to new Government of Alberta Accommodation Standards on each of the building’s three floors. Project was executed via Construction Management delivery method. The project had a very aggressive design and construction schedule tied to the lease expiry dates of existing government departments earmarked to move into the newly renovated facility.
The architect has provided a reference letter on our success stating “During the pre-construction phase, Chandos played a major role in scheduling the project, defining the sub-trade packages and working collaboratively with Alberta Infrastructure and DIALOG to developing an overall strategy for bidding and constructing this fast-track project. Through our experience with the J.G. O’Donoghue project we have found the Chandos team to be proficient, committed, collaborative, and pro-active. We welcome the opportunity to work with them again.”
