We are building an affordable housing facility in Penticton, BC. The original lot was a parking lot, and a slab left behind after demolition, and our team will be transforming it into a 28-unit residential facility with a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites.
During pre-construction, we identified Indigenous partners, suppliers, businesses, sub-trades, and labourers to support the project. We also hosted a Social Impact workshop and attended two Work BC job fairs to promote opportunities within the community. As a result, we have built strong relationships with many Indigenous partners along the way.
The wood-frame structure includes a mechanical penthouse, offices spaces on the ground floor, an open-air covered parking area, and a stair core that extends from the podium to the penthouse.
