Canadian Western Bank provides specialized financial services for business and personal banking and wealth management tools, and has recently expanded their footprint in Lethbridge, Alberta.
Our National Special Services Group partnered with the brand to renovate a new retail location. The original building was another national bank retail location which had been abandoned for years.
Using collaborative construction principles, we worked with the client, building owners, and subtrade partners to complete the retrofit. Construction was still on going in the attached space of the base building, which required strong delivery coordination skills from our team.
One of the challenges we encountered was installing wall vinyl graphics along a curved staircase. While initially planned to be completed using a lift, the suspended slab could not support the lift’s weight. As a result, we had to construct a scaffold system to carry out the installation.
Long lead times caused challenges throughout the project, the team used a comprehensive look-ahead system and ordered materials early to ensure the project would be completed on time.
