This project included the construction of a new operations facility for Peak Energy Services. The building consisted of a 14,000 sq. ft. two storey office and 58,000 sq. ft. of garage, service bays and parts warehouse. The 23-acre site required significant work, including the build of a separate cold storage building.
We used a construction management approach to complete the work on schedule and under budget.
One challenge that we ran into during this project included 500,000 cubic meters of clay that needed to be removed prior to construction - encountering one of the wettest years on record in Red Deer. Through collaboration with all the trades, we coordinated the work to ensure efficiency.
