This design-build project is situated on a UNESCO World Heritage site which contains protected cultural resources. Management of the impact on the sensitive thermal spring environment - which is a habitat for the endangered Banff Springs Snail - was critical.
This project had high visibility in a public area of Banff and had to be completed with minimum disruption to visitors, operations, and staff in the general vicinity.
Immediately adjacent to the site were four other projects which affected our construction and which had to be respected so that overall continuity of the site was maintained.
We completed this project on schedule and on budget by applying a rigorous schedule, budget, and quality and scope controls throughout all phases, while also complying with all sustainable development requirements.
