The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) Centre for Boreal Research is an innovative applied research facility in Peace River - approximately 500 km northwest of Edmonton.
It is staffed with a team of scientists and technicians who hold professional designations in forestry, biology and agrology. The facility is 9,000 sq. ft., includes two clean laboratories, office space for 15 people, an outdoor growing space, and a three-bay greenhouse that features computer-controlled humidity, temperature and lighting.
In part, this project was completed successfully through our values alignment process. It brought project participants towards a common set of goals which were established in collaboration with NAIT.
